A £15m David Moyes signing is ‘ready to leave’ West Ham United this summer transfer window, according to a recent report.
Julen Lopetegui is the man West Ham chiefs have chosen to replace the departed Moyes, who finished ninth last term.
The onus is now on the Spaniard to return The Hammers to some form of European football and to do that he’ll need to bring in his own players to align with his possesion-based brand of football.
Though, to facilitate incomings, they’ll need to move players out the door and one man reportedly wants to leave.

Emerson Palmieri wants to leave West Ham United
According to Leggo, via ASRomaLive.it, West Ham left-back Emerson Palmieri is ‘ready to leave’ the club this summer.
He only joined The Hammers on a permanent deal worth £15m in 2022 and is contracted until 2026 but it seems he wants out.
Emerson is attracting interest from Roma, who believe he could replace Leonardo Spinazzola.
The 29-year-old appears to be open to a return to Roma, having made 47 appearances for them before joining Chelsea in 2018.

West Ham stance is unknown
It remains unclear whether West Ham will allow Emerson to depart this summer and perhaps he could be tempted to stay if Lopetegui makes him a key figure in his plans.
Though, if he is adamant about leaving, The Hammers should look to recoup much of the £15m they outlaid on him.
Further, most clubs will have to trade due to Financial Fair Play regulations and West Ham are no different in that, so his sale could help to facilitate potential arrivals.
