According to reports, Everton have their eye on one of the stars of the recent U20 World Cup in Poland. Adolfo Gaich is a £12m target for Everton, according to the Argentinian version of AS.

Gaich has recently been showcasing his ability on the international stage. The Argentina U20 starlet scored three times at the U20 World Cup to catch the eye.

Everton are considering a move the San Lorenzo striker now. He is tipped as a bright talent for the future and Everton are hoping to pounce.

Gaich’s physical presence is his main weapon. The towering 6ft 3in striker is able to use his strength and height to dominate in the air and hold the ball up.

Despite his young age, the 20-year-old already has the attributes to thrive in the Premier League. Some South American players struggle to adapt but Gaich is built for the English game.

If Gaich moves to Everton, he might not be an immediate starter. He has only played 11 games for San Lorenzo in the Primera Division with two goals to his name.

But it shouldn’t be long before Gaich is pushing for a first-team spot. Marco Silva’s striker options are limited at the moment and there is a vacancy in attack.

If Gaich can use his physical attributes to good effect in England, then he could be playing regularly for Everton in the near future.
