Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is reportedly closing in on a move to Los Angeles FC.
The Spurs star hasn’t played for Ange Postecoglou this season after declaring his intention to move last summer.
Although Lloris didn’t manage to secure a move away from Tottenham in the close season, it looks as though he’s now close to sealing a deal with a new club.
According to the Daily Mail, the £120,000-a-week stopper (Salarysport) is in talks with LAFC, which are said to be in their final stages.

Hugo Lloris limbo at Tottenham set to come to an end as another all-time great on verge of leaving N17
Lloris’ stock at Tottenham has sadly fallen dramatically between the end of last season and the present day.
The £120,000-a-week goalkeeper (Salarysport) was very much in the Harry Kane bracket of being a bona fide Spurs legend.
He was Tottenham’s captain and a stalwart who had spent over a decade with the club and had clocked up 444 competitive appearances.
However, in the summer, Lloris decided he wanted a move away from Tottenham and declared “an end of an era” for him at Spurs.
Then, in an unexpected turn of events, the 36-year-old didn’t manage to seal a move away, and ended up staying put at Tottenham, albeit out of Postecoglou’s plans.
The Spurs boss has Guglielmo Vicario as his first-choice stopper, while Fraser Forster is the back-up at N17. Between them, they have kept goal very well for Tottenham.
Let’s hope Lloris manages to get a move to LAFC over the line, and then Spurs and their fans can give him the send-off his fruitful career at N17 richly deserves.
It’ll be a sad day when he does leave Tottenham, but he will surely be remembered as one of the North Londoners’ all-time greats.
