£100k-a-week Arsenal player is leaving in January - report
Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac will leave the Emirates in January and join Fenerbahce, according to Yeni Asir.
The 28-year-old is surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium, with just two appearances under his belt this season.
Kolasinac joined Arsenal in the summer of 2017 on a free transfer from Schalke, and has clocked up 115 appearances in red and white.
However, he made just nine appearances for the Gunners last season, and ended up returning to his former club on loan.
Kolasinac couldn’t prevent Schalke from suffering relegation from the Bundesliga, which snuffed out any hopes of a permanent deal.
Now back at Arsenal, the Bosnia & Herzegovina defender has only featured in the Premier League loss to Manchester City and the 6-0 Carabao Cup win over West Brom this term.
The report by Turkish outlet Yeni Asir seems pretty sure that Fenerbahce will sign Kolasinac in January – and will do so without paying a fee.
The £100,000-a-week Arsenal man isn’t out of contract until the end of the season.
However, Yeni Asir‘s report seems to hint that the Gunners are willing to let him leave for free.
Kolasinac is reportedly keen on the prospect of joining Fenerbahce, who tried for the Arsenal man over the summer too, added the report.
