‘100% convinced’: Ozil believes Arsenal have one talent who can become ‘a great player’
Mesut Ozil believes that Arsenal star Bukayo Saka will recover from his Euro 2020 penalty miss based on his talent.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, the former Gunners playmaker lauded the 19-year-old attacker for his humbleness and determination.
Ozil also predicted that Saka will go on to have a great future in football after an explosive start to his career.
The former Germany international played alongside Saka under both Unai Emery and Mikel Arteta.
The Hale End academy product has developed into one of Arsenal’s best players in the first-team. Saka is also a regular with the England national team.
Saka made four appearances in Euro 2020, including starts against Germany and Denmark.
Although the youngster missed the decisive penalty in the final, Saka was impressive for England during the tournament.
And Ozil believes the Saka has a bright future ahead of him.

The Fenerbahce star said: “Bukayo is blessed with a talent that not many have. If he remains as humble and determined as he already is, I am 100% convinced that he has a great future ahead of him and can become a great player.”
Saka was one of the few bright sparks for Arsenal last term in what was a year to forget for the club.
And with his first international tournament now under his belt and Arteta aiming to add quality to the squad, next season could be another one to remember for the 19-year-old attacker.
