 8. Joe van der Sar

Joe van der Sar is the 18-year-old son of former Dutch goalkeeper Edwin, and now shares the same position as his legendary father. Joe trained with Manchester United’s academy and after his father retired from playing and he turned out for amateur club VV Nordwijk, before signing with Ajax’s academy in 2013.

 9. Enzo Fernandez

Zinedine Zidane isn’t the only member of his family employed by Real Madrid: son Enzo Fernandez (who has decided to use his mother’s name) has been at the club for 12 years now. The 21-year-old is a attacking midfielder hoping to make the step up to first-team football in the near future. Zinedine’s three other sons, Luca, Theo and Elyaz are also in Madrid’s youth sides.

10. Justin Kluivert

Patrick Kluivert has four sons, but it seems that 16-year-old Justin is blessed with plenty both pace and dribbling ability (not to mention a fine finisher) and is the closest to following his father’s footballing footsteps. Justin is turning out for the youth teams at Ajax, the same club that his father made his start in professional football before going on to play for AC Milan and Barcelona. In January this year, Justin was said to have “produced the latest of a series of wondergoals.”
