Renato Sanches (Portugal)
18-year-old Sanches has already made a high-profile move this summer window, leaving Benfica to join European giants Bayern Munich.
Although he may not be first choice in the Portuguese side, the dynamic, box-to-box midfielder would complement William Carvalho’s style of play and provide Fernando Santos with a strong midfield.
People all over Twitter have discussed dread-locked teen at great length, but the tournament will give them a chance to actually watch Sanches and see what he will bring to Carlo Ancelotti’s Bayern side when the tournament comes to an end.
Arkadiusz Milik (Poland)
Milik is not the first name that springs to mind when anyone mentions Polish strikers. Overshadowed by the brilliance of Robert Lewandowski, Milik plays second fiddle but I think the Ajax forward could surprise a few this tournament playing in behind the Bayern man.
He scored an impressive 21 league goals for Ajax, who mounted a serious title challenge in Netherlands. At just 22 years old, the pacey forward scored more goals than games for the under 21’s whilst making his first team debut aged just 18.
He now has 10 goals in 24 caps for Poland, and with games against Ukraine and Northern Ireland in the group stage, he’ll be hoping to add to his already impressive tally.
