'10/10', 'I'll never not be amazed': Some Liverpool fans wowed by defender's display tonight
A number of Liverpool fans have lauded Trent Alexander-Arnold’s display for the Reds against Arsenal.
The Anfield academy graduate put in an incredible performance as Jurgen Klopp’s charges reached the Carabao Cup final.
Liverpool ran out 2-0 winners over the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium, with Diogo Jota netting twice.
The Reds won 2-0 on aggregate after last week’s first leg at Anfield finished goalless.
Alexander-Arnold provided assists for both of his teammate’s goals in north London.
In the 19th minute, the 23-year-old set Jota on his way with a neat ball.
The Portuguese had a lot of work to do still, but he duly did so, getting the better of Takehiro Tomiyasu and scuffing an effort past Aaron Ramsdale.
In the 77th minute, Alexander-Arnold then completely split the Arsenal defence open with a diagonal ball to Jota.
The former Wolves man beat Ben White and dinked a superb finish over Ramsdale and into the net.
As per Squawka, Alexander-Arnold clocked up some impressive stats.
He won 100 percent of his ground duels, took 74 touches of the ball, delivered four crosses, created three chances, provided two assists, and weighed in with three tackles, two clearances and an interception.
Needless to say, Liverpool fans were in dreamland over Alexander-Arnold’s display:

Also there’s no way TAA can be left out of the England XI from henceforth. One of the best fullbacks the EPL has ever seen. Got everything.
