Monday Night Football
Making the most of our £10 free bet with Ladbrokes, earned as a result of a £20 in-play bet during Sunday’s clash between Chelsea and Swansea, we backed a 1-3 correct score bet ahead of Sunderland’s evening fixture with Everton, for a guaranteed £7.26 profit – a tidy start to the week.
We then looked to take advantage of 188 Bet’s ‘Money back as a free bet’ offer. If Jermain Defoe scored the first goal in the Black Cats’ clash with the Toffees, and our best lost, we would receive a free bet worth the value of our initial stake. This meant we could extract a £25 free bet, providing all went to plan.
Placing a matched bet on a full-time draw, for an initial loss of £1.93, the strategy here was to hope Defoe scored first, then Sunderland or Everton would gone on to win (thus meaning our first bet would lose). However, as we now know, Sunderland would end the evening goalless, with Everton’s Romelu Lukaku stealing the plaudits in a 3-0 victory for the away side.
Moving on from a narrow loss, we were able to replenish our guaranteed winnings with a free £5 bet on Bet Stars – courtesy of a weekend site issue. Backing a draw in Empoli’s Italian top flight match-up with Crotone, we ensured an additional £3.42 win (regardless of the final outcome, thanks to the beauty of matched betting) to add to the ever-growing kitty.
As a tidy little bonus, we converted the £5 stake not returned bonus from Sky Bet Club for a £4.52 profit, by placing a matched bet on Sirtori in the 18:37 race at Finger Lakes. It might not be football, but who are we to turn down a few extra pounds worth of winnings? All-in-all, a fairly successful night.

Champions League Tuesday
Tuesday started well, as we took advantage of a free £25 bet earned with 188 Bet on the weekend. Placing a matched bet on a draw between Legia Warsaw and Borussia Dortmund, for a guaranteed profit, we were able to add a very quick £18.74 to the monthly kitty.
We then took a slight hit, as we took a stab at Paddy Power’s generous half-time offer. If the team you place a bet on is losing after 45 minutes, they will refund your stake (up to £25) as a free bet. Based on Paris Saint Germain’s poor form so far this season, we backed them – the strategy being to hope for Arsenal to be leading at half-time. However, this was not to be the case, and we instead lost a bearable £1.74.
The European action provided us with the opportunity to tackle Bet356’s 100% deposit match offer. If done correctly, this can return a very handsome profit. Luckily, we smashed it! Firstly, we placed a £100 matched bet ahead of Brighton’s tie with Huddersfield, backing a draw for an initial loss of -£2.29. The strategy here, is to place the initial bet (to unlock the promotion) and hope it loses, so that we do not have to meet the bookies’ wagering requirements.
Having unlocked a further £100-worth of free bets, we approached the second half of this promotion with the exact same strategy – place a matched bet and hope it loses with the bookie, thus avoiding the wagering requirements. Two £50 matched bets on Preston versus Cardiff (draw for loss of £2.50) and Wolves versus Barnsley (draw for loss of £3.15) returned the desired result, giving us an overall profit of £92.06.
To complete the evening, we were then able to unlock a further £10 free bet with Leo Vegas, thanks to their European football offer. By placing a £20 bet on Tuesday’s tie between PSV and Atletico Madrid (backing under 2.5 goals for an initial loss of £-0.88), we gained ourselves a £10 free bet to be used on Wednesday and Thursday’s games.
Tuesday Total Profit: £108.18 + £10 in free bets[separator type=”thin”]
Champions League Wednesday
We had initially placed a £25 matched bet (with a qualifying profit of £0.32) with Stan James on Tuesday, to unlock a freebie of the same value. However, the rain in Manchester ensured the outcome of City’s clash with Borussia Mönchengladbach would be left undecided until Wednesday evening. Nonetheless, patience proved a virtue, as we experienced the desired outcome.
With SJ offering to refund the stake of any winning bets above odds of 3.0, we took a punt on a Manchester City handicap of -2, meaning the Sky Blues would have to win by three goals. A comprehensive four goal winning-margin over their German hosts kicked-off a promising night for us, unlocking a £25 free bet that will be cashed-in later in the week.
Bet Safe’s mobile app promotion provided a further opportunity to further line our pockets. Simply for downloading the application, we qualified for a £10 risk free bet. Placing this on a pre-match draw between Legia Warsaw and Borussia Dortmund, we guaranteed ourselves a generous £7.85.
Tony Bet’s £5 free bet offer. By backing an incorrect correct score in Tottenham’s match with Monaco, we would qualify for the promotion. We went for Spurs 2-3 Monaco. Of course, the game finished 2-1 favour of the French outfit, which meant our initial bet lost, thus earning us a £5 freebie, which we should be able to turn into £3.50+ profit tomorrow or Friday.
The only real pitfall of the night came as a result of Paddy Power’s HT promotion, which caught us out for the second night running. Expecting a dominant performance from Spurs against their Ligue 1 counterparts, we backed a Monaco victory for a loss of £4.35 (hoping for the Lilywhites to be winning at the half-way stage). Again, this was not to be the case.
Wednesday Total Profit: £3.82 + £30 in free bets
Total Article Profit: £125.27 + £40 in free bets
Total Monthly Profit: £238.44
