At the start of any new season, fans wait to see what design their new kit will feature. Whether it be a new collar, pattern or colour, new strips bring reactions.
Liverpool’s third kit was no different. The Reds have already released a solid home strip, featuring a classic white collar, yet the third kit is slightly out of the ordinary.
After last season fluresouent yellow jersey, New Balance have again used a bold colour. This time, the sports brand have used a similarly vibrant orange.
The strip is orange from head to toe, with small black features dotted around, such as a black collar and branding. New Balance decided to use last season’s yellow for the goalkeeper this time around.
Simon Mignolet is the main shot-stopper in the kit’s marketing scheme, while Jordan Henderson James Milner and Adam Lallana are all featured.
The Reds utilised Asia to launch their strip, with the players travelling to Hong Kong for the big unveiling. As with any new release, fans have had their say. Here is how Twitter reacted…
Some fans were pleased with the design…
That should of been the away kit .. not third .. as that will barely be used and it's such a shame as it's a proper decent kit !!
