How Chelsea rated as they recorded a late 2-1 victory over Stoke City

It may have been a game of almost complete domination for Chelsea but it was not until the closing moments where it looked as though they would emerge victorious, as Gary Cahill found the back of the net with just minutes left on the clock. Willian had opened the scoring, playing in the place of the injured Eden Hazard, but Jonathan Walters’ penalty drew the scoreline level not long before the half-time break.

 

Here are how the Chelsea players rated:

Thibaut Courtois – 7

Had very little to do and could not really be blamed for Stoke’s goal given that it came from 12 yards. A comfortable afternoon for the Belgian.
