Everton Player Ratings: How did the Toffees rate in defeat to Chelsea?

It was talked about before the game that Everton was the most difficult team that Chelsea had to face during the run-in, but the Toffees didn’t cause the league leaders any real problems.

The defence wasn’t at it, while the attackers struggled to get into the game. There was a real quality difference between the two teams and the visitors deserved to take all three points.

Maarten Stekelenburg – Everton have had goalkeeping trouble for the majority of the season and their weakness in the position was evident on Sunday. The Dutchman did poorly for the second goal as he parried poorly back into his six-yard box from a free kick, giving Gary Cahill an easy finish. 3
